Office Furnishings to remain in downtown Dayton with a new showroom in an historic building.

DAYTON, OHIO – The new Dayton Showroom for APG Office Furnishings will be located in one of the city’s finest, historic buildings. APG will occupy the street level of the Cannery Building at 14 Wayne Avenue on the corner of Third Street. The move is scheduled to be complete October 1, 2007.

"The appeal of the Cannery building was not only its high ceilings and unique industrial design, but the opportunity to remain downtown and be part of the revitalization of the Ball Park district," says Jeff Schultz, Senior VP of Sales for APG.

APG welcomed the opportunity to work with some of its long time customers to convert the space. Dayton architect, Lorenz Williams designed the new showroom, and one of Montgomery Country’s leading builders, Oberer-Thompson Companies, did the renovation.

"It was a pleasure working with APG," said Karen Painter of Lorenz Williams. "They understand space, utilization and design. Together we were able to maximize the unique potential of this historic building."

Oberer-Thompson Company has enjoyed a long history of working in downtown Dayton. The new showroom contains over 5,000 square feet of display space.
