Government Hospital Network that provides care to over 95,000 veterans each year in Northern Ohio, through two inpatient facilities, twelve community based outpatient clinics and three vet centers.
The government hospital network requires a quick turnaround from specification to installation to keep up with their demanding work load. The hospital network is constantly growing, so they are continuously adding on to each facility to gain more space for their staff and patients. Furthermore, confidentiality is an important issue as well so all departments need private workspaces. Action Office 2 system, Meridian filing and storage, Aeron chairs, and Meridian 5000 freestanding desk units provide the hospital network with flexibility for reconfigurations and privacy for their ever-changing environments.
APG has become a single source provider for the hospital network by offering design, project management and warehousing and installation services. The APG project team has established numerous standard office layouts as well as standard finish schedules to be able to quote and order offices as quickly as possible for the hospital network. In addition to the hospital network’s standard furniture program, APG manages their large inventory of product through AIM (Asset Inventory Management.) By utilizing the standard furniture program and AIM, APG is able to provide the hospital network with the quick turnaround and excellent services they are seeking on a daily basis.

The Aeronautics and Space Research Center’s main campus has more than 140 buildings that include 24 major facilities and over 500 specialized research and test facilities. The center's activities support all of the government agency’s missions and the major programs.
The Aeronautics and Space Research Center was looking for a furniture system that provided the greatest value and a reliable manufacturer since their original manufacturer went out of business. The research center’s employees design and install all of the furniture themselves so the focus was set on ease of installation and reconfiguration while providing exceptional value and product non-obsolescence. The research center’s IT department required the furniture system to have electrical and data separation so there were not any issues with the harmonics between the cables. Additionally, the research center desired greater space utilization and stations with a large worksurface.
APG specified Herman Miller’s Vivo which was able to provide the research center’s IT department with the security they required. Furthermore, the About Face feature of Vivo provided the space utilization and large worksurface solution the research center was seeking. APG’s specification and recommendation of Vivo enabled the research center to find the ideal solution for their facility. The Vivo system was the perfect fit for the research center and its employees.
