A joint venture between various healthcare networks makes it one of the nation’s largest reference laboratory organizations.
The laboratories were interested in moving into a new space that would reflect its new culture of a 24/7 laboratory which required the environment to change with the staff.
APG Office Furnishings (APG) worked closely with the laboratories’ management team to develop an environment that increased employee efficiency and effectiveness, along with increasing employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
The laboratories leveraged APG’s extensive knowledge of lab environment design to develop its project on time and within budget. The space reflected infrastructure flexibility for both the building and the furniture to adapt as its business partners changed.

Mental health hospital which is a 250 patient room, state-of-the-art mental health facility located in Cincinnati, OH.
The hospital management team, along with SFA architects, wanted to create an environment that was both safe and secure for its patients and employees.
APG Office Furnishings and the hospital management team worked closely with (Amcase) the furniture manufacturer, to develop furniture applications for patient rooms. Custom wardrobe cabinets were designed, free of any sharp edges or removable parts, ensuring that the furniture is safe. This resulted in a decline of employee/patient injuries.

The clinical and hospital network is the premier heart center and one of the top medical centers in the country. Its campus sprawls over eight million square feet in Cleveland and its off-campus health system includes nine community hospitals and two affiliate hospitals.
The clinical and hospital network management team recognized that they needed a solution to manage the capital assets of over 8 million square feet. The solution had to be both user friendly, along with using internal technology that made the assets available to all locations in a timely manner.
APG Office Furnishings worked directly with the network facility group to introduce a software management system, Asset Inventory Management (AIM). The network’s integration into AIM has resulted in APG managing all of its existing furniture. With an organized and inventoried warehouse, churn is more efficient and projects can be installed fast -- sometimes overnight. The results of well-organized churn projects have improved morale and downtime by getting employees back to work sooner. The AIM program has worked so well that other items, such as medical equipment and non-furniture pieces, have been entered into the system.
